Founder, Bizzie Media Group

Stephanie Elie is an independent producer and narrative creator based in Los Angeles. She is the founder of Bizzie Media Group and creator of Alpha 8, an award-winning audio drama with over 100,000 listeners, and The Last Uprising, a 2026 LA WebFest nominee. She writes across formats, produces independently, and builds the tools and systems that make sustainable creative work possible. Before audio drama, she spent years writing independently about tech and tools for working moms — for Lifetime Moms, Tamron, and her own platform, BizzieLiving — building audiences around practical, real-life content. A decade of UX content design experience — including AI product work at Procore and content strategy at Disney — informs how she thinks about all of it.

What drives the work

I grew up as a military kid — half my childhood overseas, including Madrid, where my family survived a terrorist attack. The other half was in the white suburbs of Northern California, where I was too Black for the white kids and too white for the Black kids. That experience of never quite fitting — of being the outsider in almost every room — is what I keep writing about. It shows up in every story I make: the families navigating impossible situations, the women the system forgot, the kids trying to figure out who they are. I make these stories because they matter.
